Southern Konnevesi National Park
Located on the border of the regions of Central Finland and Northern Savonia, the Southern Konnevesi National Park was founded in the summer 2014. On the way, you’ll get to enjoy lakeland sceneries, walk on duckboards, admire some steep rocks and see wild rosemary plants, ancient aspens and nests of flying squirrels. There are three main hiking routes in the park and one short route for people with reduced mobility. Take the lengths of the routes with a grain of salt; in actuality, you’ll often end up walking a few more kilometres than the official length of the route.
